BGRF researchers propose Oncofinder way for accurate evaluation of gene expression data Researchers from the Biogerontology Study Base , a UK-based charity founded to aid ageing analysis and address the problems of a rapidly ageing people, propose a fresh concept for signalome-wide evaluation of adjustments in intracellular pathways, called OncoFinder, that allows for accurate and robust cross-platform evaluation of gene expression data. This new technique allows researchers to derive useful info from and evaluate the thousands of data units obtained using legacy gear in addition to data pieces acquired from biological samples preserved in paraffin blocks and partially-degraded samples. The initial research, released in the journal Frontiers in Molecular Biosciences, demonstrates the OncoFinder method considerably reduces mistakes introduced by transcriptome-wide experimental methods. Expected more than 12,000 researchers and others for the event, one of the most important scientific conferences in 2008. There are more than 9,000 reports on new discoveries in chemistry and other fields. These fields span the width of the science of astronomy to zoology, and have a special focus on health, energy, food, environment and alternative fuels.
